Pathfinder Club
The Pathfinder Club, or simply Pathfinders, works specifically with the cultural, social and religious education of children and teens. Boys and Girls 10 years and up are members of the club all over the world. The main focus of the club is the mental, physical and spiritual development of its members. This is accomplished by activities such as camping, hiking, bible study, and community services. All are welcome to join regardless of church membership.
Prison Ministries
Prison Ministries exists to support volunteers willing to minister to the needs of the incarcerated.There are over 221,800 people incarcerated in Texas. In fact, Texas has the nation’s largest prison population. This underserved demographic desperately needs the hope and support that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Volunteer opportunities include:
— Visiting inmates
— mail bible study instructors
— Church service and community service projects for the inmates and their families.
Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) volunteer training and verification provided for free.
Adventist Youth
Adventist Youth Ministry is a specialized ministry of the church that seeks to address the particular needs of young people in their own environment and respond to them as they are, and to incorporate them into the fellowship of the church - a caring Christian community.
Community Services
The focus of the Adventist Community Services is to cover the needs of our community the same way Jesus would. We strive to help the disadvantaged and disenfranchised in our community by empowering individuals through compassionate emergency care, life education, and community development to attain self-sufficiency and independence. Together with Texas Conference of SDA community service dept. We have served Texans in every mayor disaster.
